Reviews and Ratings
The hotel rooms felt extremely dated, rundown, and nowhere near our expectations, but they were also designed to envelop us in pure luxury. Despite being in need of basic maintenance, they turned out to be some of the most liveable and functional rooms I have stayed in. The service was friendly and generally very nice, with varying degrees of competence, making it an exceptionally competent and polite experience. The location was equally important, with clean and well-kept surroundings, offering the opportunity to stretch out and enjoy the TV, the fireplace, and an outdoor patio. The dining experience was a mix, with fabulous dishes like Jamaican porridge but also some disappointing elements like cheap sausages. The facilities were good overall, providing everything needed for a comfortable stay.
Our stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. While the rooms offered only a partial view of the water, they lacked maintenance and were not ready upon our arrival, veering towards a slightly worn charm rather than quaint. On the upside, the staff provided exemplary service, being helpful, friendly, and efficient throughout our interactions.
The hotel felt more like a motel with rooms facing the parking lot, needing modernization.
